Ocean views and unexpected noise
The ocean view from our room was mesmerizing, making every morning feel like a postcard. The staff was incredibly cheerful and offered great hiking tips.
Unfortunately, the walls were paper-thin, and we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, which impacted our sleep quality, especially with one particularly loud guest.

We had a fantastic time exploring the stunning coast while staying in our lovely, clean room with ocean views. The staff were extraordinarily welcoming, and the food was delicious. Plus, having our two dogs with us made the trip even better!
My kids wished there were more outdoor play areas for them near the hotel.

Just a reliable pick for a trip in Hellnar with fantastic value for money. The staff didn’t have ice available, which was a bit frustrating. For better service, plan ahead and stock up on snacks before arriving.

Simple, comfy stay with nice views
Had a cozy stay for 1 night. The staff were super friendly and really went outta their way to help us. The room was clean and looked new! The breakfast buffet was delicious, lots of options. Only thing I didn’t like was bringing our bags through gravel to the room, kinda a pain with wheels.

The stunning views of the sea during breakfast were a highlight, and the delicious fish and chips from the nearby food truck made our stay memorable.

Stunning views overlooking the ocean. Rooms felt cramped, with minimal amenities. Close to the Hellnar-Arnarstapi hiking trail for beautiful coastal views.

Well-maintained property and charming ambiance.
I was extremely frustrated with the room's size and lack of amenities. The absence of a refrigerator was a major inconvenience since we had food from the grocery store. Additionally, the thin walls made it impossible to have any peace, as we could hear our neighbor's loud conversations clearly.

great views but minor service hiccup
The welcome we received was genuinely warm, which set a positive tone for our stay. The views were stunning even on a rainy day, making the ambiance naturally picturesque. We found the room to be well-appointed, with a comfy bed and a strong shower that made our rest refreshing. It was also a delight to indulge in dinner and breakfast, both of which were delicious and exceeded our expectations.
However, there was a slight delay in service during breakfast that could be improved.

The location is stunning with easy access to walking paths and beautiful views of the North Atlantic when the weather permits. Rooms were small but clean and well-maintained. However, the noise from washing machines nearby was quite bothersome, and the shower door didn’t function well. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but the price felt a bit high for what was offered.
